One of the first things I wanted to change when I started planning for our relaunch, was our logo. Coen created our original logo back in 2012, with the intention of designing something that was fun, but ultimately unfashionable. That might sound super strange but we wanted something that set us apart from all the typical startup logos.
Five years later, a lot has changed with Popbasic, myself and ultimately our customers. I wanted something that reflected Popbasic's new path (classic, organic, high quality basics), and something that was fresh at the same time.
Although I loved the colors and our moving logo (did anyone ever notice that if you hovered your mouse above the logo, it moved?), I wanted something that was a little more grown up.
What do you think, do you like it? Don't worry, even though it is a simple black and white logo, it will enable me to still use color in fun and unexpected ways. I can't wait to show you what I've dreamed up for our new packaging!
